This position will be based in our Administrative & Fiscal Services (AFS) division. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for high level financial management and accounting work for our agency of approximately 1,700 employees over 50 locations throughout the State of Minnesota.
This position assists with administering extensive accounting and technically complex systems including Statewide Integrated Financial Tools (SWIFT), Statewide Employee Management (SEMA4), and the fiscal Internal Audit (IA) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) warehouses This includes, but is not limited to, in collaboration with the Budget Director developing procedures and policies related to state and federal financial reporting in compliance with best practices and legal standards. This position also may assist in providing back-up services to the Financial Planning and Analysis business unit which requires extensive accounting and technical system knowledge of complex systems. This position is telework eligible. Staff are provided with the tools and equipment to be successful in a virtual work environment. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
