Research Technician UPCI Basic Research Administration - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (26001696) The Laboratory Research Technician in Dr. Byrd's Lab will support preclinical research focused on the discovery and development of novel therapeutic agents for leukemia. This role involves conducting in vitro and in vivo experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, analyzing data, and collaborating with scientists to advance drug candidates toward clinical application. The technician will play a key role in ensuring experimental accuracy, reproducibility, and compliance with laboratory protocols. Job Summary Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Prepares specimens. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment. Essential Functions
Physical Effort Moderate physical effort required. May be required to stand/move for several hours at a time. May be required to move objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance of equipment.
