Position Summary We are seeking board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Dermatologists to build Children's Minnesota pediatric dermatology program . The ideal candidate will have specialized training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of dermatological conditions affecting infants, children, and adolescents. This role involves providing compassionate, evidence-based care in an outpatient clinic setting, with opportunities for inpatient consultation, teaching, and research.There are ample opportunities to perform pediatric dermatologic surgery at our freestanding pediatric ambulatory surgery center or at either of our hospital locations. Key Responsibilities:
Location (e.g. remote or on-site): On-site DHS Background Study: Yes, required License/Certification/Registration: *Medical Licensure in the State of Minnesota or the ability to obtain one required. *Ability to be successfully credentialed by both Hospital and 3rd Party Payers. Education: *M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree from another country. *Board BE/BC in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. *Board BE/BC in subspecialty, if applicable. *Completion of an ACGME Accredited Fellowship program, per subspecialty requirements. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *Clinical competency and expertise in caring for hospitalized children. *Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics. *Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications. *In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices. *Excellent oral and written communication skills. *Respect for patient's confidentiality. *Compassionate and approachable. *Responsible and trustworthy.
