New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an Energy Efficiency Coordinator to collaborate with interdepartmental peers on operational issues while maintaining a balance between overall business need and customer satisfaction. Provide oversight for the repayment of financing to ensure collections of the amount owed and facilitate tracking mechanisms for customers beyond payment terms.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Support energy efficiency program operations through updating customer and contractor-facing systems with project data
  • Supporting the Statewide Coordinator System by analyzing flaw reports
  • Track Whole Home and Moderate-Income Weatherization releases
  • Support of Oracle in alignment with Finance programs
  • Develop an understanding of all other SAVEGREEN regulatory reporting and serve as back up for the Sr. Analyst
  • Work with SAVEGREEN team to develop reports within the customer system to track EE financing provided to customers
  • Prepare for new filing programs with Sr. Analyst and finance for program set up
  • Monitor and analyze delinquency through system reports, query data or other forms of business intelligence and pursue initiatives for process and performance improvemen
  • Effectively support the management of bad debt risk by ensuring adherence to established procedures and monitoring write off, collection agency performance and bankruptcy claims

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in a finance field is preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills and customer focus
  • Strong attention to detail. Experience in Data Entry Analysis desirable
  • Desirable computer system knowledge: database query techniques, financial accounting systems, global information system and taz map software
  • Knowledge of service territory (Monmouth, Morris and Ocean Counties) a plus
  • Highly motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Natural Gas Utility and Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) experience

Other Details:

Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $59,000- $75,200.
Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.

This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
