Ipsen International Inc Description:Ipsen is a drug free workplace Hours of work: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm M-F Summary Keeps premises of office building and designated shop areas in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. Cleans offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, conference rooms, lunchroom, corridors, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures. Replaces restroom/bathroom supplies as needed. Sweep and mop floors. Cleans and vacuums rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and window coverings. Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metalwork. Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, door panels and sills as needed. Empties wastebaskets, transports trash and waste to disposal area. Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed. Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools. Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Professional demeanor and ability to think on their feet to handle the unexpected. Process a high level of dependability including stellar attendance and punctuality. Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions. Uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in a related role at an office and/or industrial setting.
