The Manager in Training - Sales position includes a base salary of $12,000, with additional earnings based on either commission or $15 per hour-whichever is greater. This position is also eligible for performance-based bonuses. Average annual earnings for a Manager in Training range from $48,000 to $50,000. Essential function and Accountability of Manager in Training - Sales: Assist in managing the sales, operation and administrative functions of a Slumberland Store including staffing, sales management, sales training, back room, inventory control, customer service and more. Learn and carry out the responsibilities of a Sales Associate while following Slumberland's sales strategies. Demonstrate high standards of conduct and performance through your own actions and consistently work toward achieving individual and store sales goals. Support and learn management responsibilities for all displays, housekeeping, clearance maintenance, and product flow. Partner with the manager in recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and developing store team members. Offering feedback and insight on associate performance to support ongoing growth and success. Adheres to safety policies and practices and consistently models safe behaviors and risk reduction procedures.
