Department Overview The Social Work department provides emotional support and counseling to children and their families. They provide crisis intervention services, help with adjustment issues, grief and loss counseling, mental health assessments, case coordination, community advocate support, and short-term therapeutic interventions. Position Summary We are hiring a Part Time .6 FTE Clinical Social Worker, to complete our Cardiovascular Care Social Work Team. This role will join together with our multidisciplinary medical team, to see patients and families in our Specialty Clinic. We provide psychosocial assessment, mental health support and brief therapy, family support, and crisis support. Our team supports patients throughout their diagnosis including hospitalization. The growth of our Cardiovascular Care service area is robust and will continue into the future. Our Social Work team is rooted in equitable care and trauma informed practice; we are prepared to support our growing patient population with a vast range of medical diagnosis and individual needs. License/Certification/Registration required? Yes * Minnesota State LGSW, LICSW preferred Education: * Master's degree in social work required. Experience: * Experience providing crisis intervention. * Two years experience with counseling in a health care related setting or two years experience in a pediatric related setting or completion of graduate internship in either of the above settings. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Knowledge of community resources. * Ability to provide good, clear documentation of work. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee's scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs. In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
