The Fellowship is targeted toward graduates who have obtained a PharmD and completed one or two years of residency training and/or have obtained a PhD, with or without postdoctoral training, in pharmaceutical sciences or pharmacy outcomes. While being mentored for a career in academia, the Fellow will have the opportunity to develop and hone teaching skills with various types of teaching experiences. They will also engage in one or more teaching and learning scholarship projects and participate on various College committees and work groups. PharmD Fellows will also have a small clinical component within the University of Kentucky Healthcare system based on their area of expertise. The Fellow will be encouraged to enroll in and complete one to two masters level education courses per semester. Activities
The Fellowship year will be July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 The Fellow will reside in the Office of Teaching Innovation & Scholarship (OTIS)/Office of Academic Programs, report to the Director of OTIS, work closely with the Assistant Dean of the Professional Program, and receive mentorship from various College faculty. The clinical component of the Fellowship will report to UK Healthcare Pharmacy Services Benefits
