New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to be responsiblefor providing administrative support for the Vice Presidents within Energy Delivery and the Energy Delivery Support department, as well as the entire business unit on an as-needed basis. Responsible for administrative, and project based work. Manages department schedules, travel, department invoices and expense reports, etc. Handles confidential and time sensitive matters.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Vice Presidents and other business unit leaders.
  • Prepare reports, letters, memos, and presentations; manage executive calendars and coordinate team meetings.
  • Handle invoice processing, purchase orders, expense reports, mailings, filing, phone coverage, photocopying, and email correspondence.
  • Prioritize and manage confidential and time-sensitive communications with internal leadership, external business partners, and vendors.
  • Compile and distribute weekly, monthly, and annual leak reports across the business unit.
  • Maintain and update NJNG Emergency Contact listings (both online and laminated versions); coordinate weekly duty supervisor schedules year-round.
  • Organize and maintain calendars, files, records, and office supplies; facilitate group meeting logistics.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal departments such as IT, Facilities, HR, and Procurement, ensuring smooth coordination with external stakeholders.
  • Schedule and support meetings including weekly staff sessions, quarterly reviews, and company events (e.g., holiday parties).
  • Arrange travel for business trips and complete associated documentation.
  • Prepare Board-level materials including presentations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Uphold confidentiality and foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment with a strong sense of responsibility.

Position Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 4–6 years of experience in office management or a related administrative field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and AS400 systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for handling customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional organizational abilities; capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Must be highly motivated and maintain a polished, professional demeanor.

Other Details:

Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $66,300- $84,500.
Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.

This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
