Research Project Manager Research Resources Coordinator/iLab Administrator Promote shared resources through departmental presentations, written advertisement, and attendance at faculty events. Maintain biomedical resources portal including regular effort to add, review, and update entries and request appropriate changes to the website functionality. Support the Core Leadership Network by organizing and running 2 live events per year and occasional special presentations. Assist faculty to find the core lab support they need for their research, sometimes at Pitt, sometimes elsewhere. Keep informed on Pitt research by attending seminars, research days, and searching out networking opportunities. Develop a deep understanding of the institutional iLab implementation and assist core laboratories in the management and maintenance of their iLab core profile. Assist customers of core laboratories to manage their profiles and capabilities within the system. Requires significant acuity in information technology and customer service orientation. Job Summary Manages all aspects of one or more projects for a research program and oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle. Provides leadership, technical direction, coordination, and expertise across projects. Analyzes progress and/or performance and prepares reports. Ensures compliance with budget, scope, timeline, and regulations. Assists with external communications. Physical Effort Walking between buildings. Standing when necessary. Traveling to Core labs around campus and various sites. Able to read computer font. When necessary, carry resource information not more than 10 pounds.
