Harvard University Title: Post-Doctoral Fellow School: Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department_Area: Economics Position Description: We are seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow who will work in the field of economic theory to conduct rigorous, high-quality research in these areas. As a member of the department and the theory field, the Post-Doctoral Fellow will work on topics in economic theory.
*Position will be 1-year from the date of appointment, renewable for a second year. Visa can be arranged. Basic Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent combination of education and experience in economics or related field at the time of appointment. Additional Qualifications: SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS • Able to lead independent research in economic theory • Ability to work collegially with staff at all levels and in all job profiles • Interest in or experience with mentoring junior staff COMPETENCIES • Initiative • Confidence and enthusiasm • Strong technical skills in economic theory • Results oriented Special Instructions: Candidates are required to submit a CV, cover letter, research statement, and letters of recommendation from three ladder faculty.
