Department Overview This department specializes in outpatient nutrition counseling on pediatric nutrition issues. They also provide inpatient assessments and education as well as some on-going support with outpatient follow-up. Position Summary An entry level position who participates in the preparation and service of food to patients, staff, and customers while maintaining department guidelines for sanitation. Responsibilities include preparation and service, (food for patients will be age and developmentally appropriate), operation of equipment, cash handling, dishwashing, grill service, and general cleaning. Must have or obtain a ServSafe Certification from the National Restaurant Association within 60 days of hire. Must have previous dietary experience and a minimum of 6 months food service related experience, but prefer 1 year. Cash handling experience optional.
